This group of work first began to resolve the end of a marriage. I worked through my sorrow in these graphite powder, gesso and shellac ink pieces that incorporate text from poems and song lyrics. Lately I have returned to this method of image making and have found new joy in creating my own lush landscapes full of north country vegetation, birds and snakes.
